Actually, Orcish armor always most closely resembled Daedric armor, with face-helms and faces on the shield, which makes sense to me. Other than that, it was really just like European plate armor, except the shield. Orcish armor in Morrowind had a slight Samurai look, mainly because of the helm and overall profile.
